NFC business cards in Nigeria: FAQ
How much does an NFC business card cost in Nigeria?
You can start free: create your Tappa profile and share it by link or QR at no cost. A physical NFC card is a one-time purchase, and Tappa Pro is billed in Naira (₦) through Paystack. There are no per-tap fees and no charge for the person receiving your card.
Do I need to pay in dollars?
No. Tappa bills in Nigerian Naira through Paystack on the web, so you pay with your regular Nigerian card or bank. There is no need for a dollar card or currency conversion.
Does the other person need an app to receive my card?
No. When you tap your NFC card on someone's phone, your Tappa profile opens in their normal web browser. They do not download anything, on iPhone or Android.
Will it work on my phone in Nigeria?
Almost certainly. NFC is the same technology used for contactless payment and it is built into nearly every smartphone sold in the last few years, including most Android phones and every recent iPhone.
Can I add my WhatsApp and bank details?
Yes. Your Tappa profile can hold your WhatsApp, phone, email, website, social links, and a Save Contact button, so people can reach you the way most Nigerians actually network.
Can I order cards for my whole team or company?
Yes. Tappa supports organisations, so you can roll out branded NFC cards across your team, keep everyone consistent, and manage profiles from a single dashboard.
